about
I started my professional career in 1997, working for an ISP during the first dotcom bubble in Brasil. The job entailed pretty much everything, from sales to tech-support, HTML coding as well as end-user training/education.
From there, I moved on to the digital media industry, working for a software developer and selling computer graphics technology/solutions to the advertising industry, whilst studying Marketing&Comms at University.
After working closely with some of the largest production houses and advertising agencies in Brasil, I decided that it was time to give my career a bit of a shake and eventually accepted a job as an undergraduate trainee at McCann-Erickson Worldwide.

My first ever computer was a MSX 1.0 CPU with a tape recorder for loading and saving programs!
Whilst there, I worked my way up to becoming an account manager and looking after some of the agency’s key business clients such as Unilever, Colgate and Sony.
After 4 years of solid ATL experience I decided it was time for a change of scenery and travelled all the way to the other side of the world to discover Australia. I simply feel in love with the country and lifestyle, and ended up extending my stay for a ‘little longer’… After over 5 years of living down under, I’m pretty comfortable in calling it my new home.
In 2005, after being granted permanent residency, I landed an account manager job at Singleton Ogilvy & Mather. Following that, I was hired by the team at Sudler & Hennessey to look after their biggest client and Australia’s #1 natural healthcare company – Blackmores.
By the end of 2008 I started having withdrawal symptoms from the digital and technology world. So I decided to use my 6+ years agency experience along with a strong techie background and joint the team at Orchard Marketing, helping our clients build and develop their brands in the digital space.
Before and after work, I am an endurance sports junkie and like to call myself a triathlete. I’ve competed in many different distance events, including a few Ironman races, marathons and ocean swims. More about it on my “other” blog
